So I got my BrainDriver in the mail yesterday. Man, was I excited. I got home and I opened it up and I tried the Accelerated Learning DARPA Montage which is for New Skill Acquisition, Increased Focus, Accelerated Learning. This is the one I think the reporter had done on the 9 volt Nirvana episode of the Radiolab Podcast. Well let’s see it was it really itchy but that was expected. I didn’t really notice anything but it was my first time, ans I wasn’t really expecting miricles. So, I woke up this morning I decided to try the Reduced Addictive Tendancies Montage. This one is for Reduced cigarette cravings and other addicting behaviors, and also Reduced alcohol and Junk food cravings. Also used for depression treatment. I want to use it for the Junk Food cravings. I finished this up a little bit ago. It was a bit itchy, as usual. I will have to wait and see.
I’m not going to get very detailed with these posts, I don’t really have the time, but I will do the best I can.
The montages that I have used so far have been from the Total tDCS website. It seems to be the simplest and easiest to follow so far.
So I was listening to The Joe Rogan Experience the other day and he had Sam Harris on and they were talking about an episode of the Radiolab podcast called 9 volt Nirvana. In this episode they were talking about tDCS, or trans-cranial direct current stimulation. This sounded really amazing to me so after I downloaded and listened to it, I was really excited and decided I had to find out more, and try it. I found out that there is a large DIY community out there.
Here is one of MANY videos that I found that explains it.
So, after that watching a couple hours of video, I decided to buy one of these devices. I probably could have built on (and I still may) but I wanted to get started, so I went to amazon and bought the BrainDriver
It should be here in a couple of days. I’ll let you know.

Davi Barker is a writer, an artist, an activist, but more importantly Davi is a testimony. Not a shallow testimony of words, but a testimony of life dedicated to truth and peace in the rejection of evil. His dedication stands strong in a world where the enemies of truth and peace distort the meaning of every word and phrase to suit their desires. But no matter the opposition he faces, Davi embraces the principle that “There shall be no compulsion in religion” and Davi shouts by example and not by words alone, that “The greatest jihad is proclaiming the truth in the face of a tyrant.” Ben Stone, The Bad Quaker

Explosions in the Sky is an American post-rock band from Texas. The band has garnered popularity beyond the post-rock scene for their elaborately developed guitar work, narratively styled instrumentals, what they refer to as “cathartic mini-symphonies,” and their enthusiastic and emotional live shows. They primarily play with three electric guitars and a drum kit, although band member Michael James will at times exchange his electric guitar for a bass guitar. Recently the band has added a fifth member to their live performances. Retrieved 2009-03-18. The band’s music is purely instrumental.

Drive-By Truckers are an alternative country/Southern rock band based in Athens, Georgia, though two out of five current members (Patterson Hood and Mike Cooley) are originally from The Shoals region of Northern Alabama, and the band strongly identifies with Alabama. Their music uses three guitars as well as bass, drums, and now keyboards. Like many alternative country acts, the Drive-By Truckers record in analog (using 2 inch, 16-track open reel tape recorders). However, unlike the majority of their contemporaries, the Drive-By Truckers have consistently pushed their labels to also release the band’s records in a vinyl format.

Gogol Bordello is a Gypsy punk band from the Lower East Side of Manhattan, formed in 1999 and known for theatrical stage shows and persistent touring.
Much of the band’s sound is inspired by Gypsy music. The band incorporates accordion and violin (and on some albums, saxophone) mixed with punk and dub.
The band has appeared in a number of independent films, most notably in 2005’s Everything Is Illuminated in which the lead singer, Eugene Hütz, co-starred with Elijah Wood in a dramedy and adventure story about the Nazi purges in Ukraine. The entire group was present for one shot in which they played a brass band in a set that included the Star Spangled Banner. They also played the traditional Yiddish tune “Bublitschki”. Gogol Bordello contributed the song “Start Wearing Purple” to the film’s score.
The band also has their own documentary called Gogol Bordello Non-Stop. This documentary was filmed in 2008 and follows the band’s progress.
In 2012, the band recorded a new song titled ‘Let’s Get Crazy’ for Coca Cola’s Euro 2012 advertising campaign.
